Upgrading the Network at Fonterra Hautapu
We had to install about 4,000 meters of new lan fibre optic cable. This cable would connect 36 access points across the big factory site. Our challenge was navigating the busy factory safely. We also had to get the right permits and follow all health and safety rules carefully.
To succeed, we planned the project step-by-step. We talked to everyone involved to get their input. During the work, we were very careful with each stage. We cooperated well as a team and with Fonterra staff too.
In the end, the new network works great! It supports Fonterra’s computer-controlled machines perfectly.
We finished on time while keeping everyone safe. The customer is very happy with the results.
