City Rail Link is the largest transport infrastructure project in New Zealand's history. Our package covered the ICT and electronic security infrastructure across three stations — access control, CCTV, structured cabling, fibre backbone and communications room fit-out.
Rail work is documented work. Every door was commissioned against its own test sheet and witnessed. Every cable run was recorded and handed over as-built. Site access was staged around civil and fit-out trades, and every crew member held current rail inductions.
The scale of the door package is what makes this project a useful reference. 150 access-controlled doors across three stations, each with its own hardware type, interfaces and egress requirements, all commissioned and signed off.

- 150 access-controlled doors — readers, maglocks, strikes, REX, contacts
- Approximately 2,000 metres of structured data cabling installed and tested
- Approximately 1,000 metres of fibre optic backbone, spliced and certified
- IP CCTV to platform, concourse, plant and back-of-house areas
- Communications room fit-out — racks, patching, containment and power
- Fire alarm, lift and building system interfaces verified per door
- Full ITP, witness test and as-built documentation package
